  • Green Mental Health Week, Dalhousie University, 2017
    A week of events including nature hikes, free yoga, and local food meals to promote grounding and support for students during the pre-exam week

  • AllTrails HRM mapping internship, 2017
    Mapped every trail in the Halifax Municipality and provided up to date maps and beta for the app Alltrails 
    In 2019 updated all trail pages with information on local bus route access with Trips by Transit hiking organization

  • Winter Wonders Snowshoe Program, 2020
    Snowshoe education program for local elementary students to promote winter outdoor recreation and outdoor confidence 

  • Exploits Bay High School Outdoor Education/Citizen Science Trip Proposal, 2020
    Drafted for OBC-Atlantic 

  • Youth Learn to Sea Kayak Level 1 Program, 2022
    In partnership with Gros Morne Adventures, offered to local students in Western NL, and focusing on risk management, and development of guiding skills

  • Community Skills Clinics, 2022
    In partnership with Gros Morne Adventures, offered to locals in Western NL and focusing on developing confidence and basic skills on the water for community members 

  • Girls on the Bay Paddle-board Sessions, 2022
    Free padle-board sessions offering basic skills instruction and discussion on empowerment, confidence, and positive body-image through outdoor recreation. Offered to local girls ages 10-13, in partnership with Gros Morne Adventures and Girls on Boards non-profit organization.

  • Gros Morne Outdoor Leadership School, 2022
    Proposal for funding for an outdoor leadership and land based education program of a year in length, to promote community development and education within Gros Morne National Park for locals and youth.

  • Gros Morne/Bonne Bay AdventureSmart Programming, 2022-present (seasonal)
    Adventure safety and outdoor awareness programming youth for the Gros Morne area, offered as seasonal presentations for local schools.

  • Gros Morne National Park Youth Ambassadors Program, 2022-present
    Monthly program offered to local schools in partnership by Western Health & Parks Canada. Focusing on education re opportunities and specialties within Parks Canada, paired with outdoor skill learning and exploration. Offered as a mix of afterschool and in-school programming.
